Gnawton’s Boss Battle music featured in the latest edition of NintyBuzz’s reoccurring segment.
Lobodestroyo has, as you all know, one of the greatest soundtracks to grace a game-that-has-not-yet-been-completed (pretty sure it’s in the Guinness Book for that… but please don’t fact check us). This is due to the amazing efforts of our talented composer Gooseworx and the phenomenal tracks he has created to enrich our game’s worlds. We are also fortunate enough to have a great Boss Battle ditty in our game, cooked up by famed Banjo-Kazooie composer Grant Kirkhope. Grant’s tune has been passed on to Gooseworx who has composed original scores for the boss encounters found in each of Lobodestroyo’s game worlds. The first of which is the evil Gnawton Sawtooth III– a character we have showcased before. Gnawton’s battle anthem is a masterful collaboration of both Kirkhope and Gooseworx’s skills, and is the sort of track every old-school Rare fan will recognize. It is also, as it so happens, featured in the latest edition of NintyBuzz’s music-driven NintyBeats article.
A snippet of the track is featured, along with a few others from fellow kickstarted indie titles like Yooka-Laylee and A Hat in Time, both of which also feature work by Grant Kirkhope. The article is entertaining and the music is fantastic, so get over to NintyBuzz and check it out! Be sure to let us know what you think of the battle anthem below!
